JCI Sheffield is a personal development and networking organisation for men and women in their twenties and thirtes. We are part of a global organisation called Junior Chamber International (JCI) which has over 250,000 members in 100 different countries and territories all over the world. The British Isles is covered by 3 national organisations. JCI Scotland for Scotland, JCI Ireland for the Republic of Ireland and we have a total of 35 branches or “chambers” in towns and cities throughout England, Northern Ireland and the Channnel Islands.

Our aim is to develop the skills of each of our members and help them reach their true potential - whatever that may be. We also strive to “create positive change” both in our members and in society as a whole. We achieve all of this as a voluntary organisation that operates outside working hours. Ultimately we are a people organisation and that is where our strengths lie.

Junior Chamber is also about variety - variety of opportunity. We run a comprehensive programme of formal management training, conferences, social events and practical projects that are available locally, nationally and internationally. All activities are carried out in a supportive environment enabling members to derive the maximum benefit possible. Membership of Junior Chamber helps you to:

Our strap line is “Developing tomorrow’s leaders …Today” and this desire — to be active in the local business and civic community as an organisation that develops the leaders of today and tomorrow - runs throughout all our programmes. Essentially there are four different “areas of opportunity” - Personal Development, Business, International and Community.
